Wait wait wait, hear me out!

I know this sounds like a joke, but I mean it. Are there any political organizations that will spam me with Indiana-specific calls to action? (Other than Joe Hogsett, lol)

My model for this is ResistBot, which is mostly about the federal level and pretty decentralized.

I’m mostly thinking of low-effort things like “call your representative” or “sign this petition,” but bigger stuff would be cool too.

I’m not convinced that these things have much impact, but a) that’s exactly why I want to find a way to do them without investing a lot of time, and b) I think it would be a good way to learn about Indiana issues that don’t affect my friend circle directly.

Just to reiterate, I’m mostly not looking for officeholders or office-seekers. Nothing against them.

Give some money to a candidate from whichever political party you’re interested in getting texts from there, with your phone number & a local address. There’s list sharing within the parties, and by the next election you’ll be getting texts from all relevant races in an area.

Thanks @ramenbellic, that makes sense. Can you think of anything similar that goes beyond electoral campaigns? Like if I want to get texts about petitions, protests, volunteering, people who need help, things like that? ResistBot is great for that at the national level.
