Oh, oops lol, the body was

Some context: In PoE1, there’s a lot of builds that want a specific amount of a certain stat, then no more than that. CoC builds want a specific amount of attack speed, after that amount getting more attack speed halves your trigger rate because you miss your cooldown window. Same for Ivory Tower builds with life reservation efficiency, where you want to get just enough to reserve exactly 99% of your life, any less reservation is actually bad because you get less of a benefit from Ivory Tower. There’s plenty of other examples (Leadership’s price, Mahuxotl’s wanting less ES, CWDT builds which normally have like 15 of these stats that they need JUST the right amount of).

My question is, we saw in Exilecon that in the PoE2 campaign, many bosses will drop quest items that will grant permanent bonuses to the player, such as additional strength or spirit. Will there be a way to opt out of these bonuses once they are obtained for builds that may be bricked by getting the stats they provide? There’s already a problem in PoE1 for self poison builds where the Shakari pantheon will actively make your build weaker if you get the minor Pantheon bonus for it, and there is no way to spec out of the bonus without giving up the build enabling main effect.

I know it’s a really niche thing and it’s probably not a concern for the beta that’s coming up, so I recognize it’s probably not worth the development time to make some kind of menu to be able to toggle the effects from all the bonuses, but maybe there’s a simpler solution.

The point of asking in the sub is the devs browse it. They stopped replying some time ago but there’s a streamer interview tomorrow and I hoped they could address that issue.
