well since Mozart is dead, and OP wants us to name a contemporary artist, isn’t it a prerequisite that the artist still be alive right now?
Danny Elfman wins. He’s a fookin’ musical mad genius.
Yikes, a 600% markup would mean that these 16-ounce peanut butter jars would cost almost $20 each 😳
are you serious? Or are you exaggerating a little?
thanks yeah and that was just a few months of my life, the rest of my life has been pretty unusual too. but who would buy a book? nobody reads books anymore.
I’ve been watching YouTube all day on my Android phone and I do kinda subconsciously recall seeing some sorta glow. Now I’m going to go look for it consciously.
update: okay I went and looked, and it is subtle and it is intermittent. The glow is there one moment, then it’s not there the next moment, it comes and goes.
Maybe the article mentioned that, I dunno, I only read half of the article before I didn’t feel like reading it anymore.
Just do what it says. Drive to Malaysia. But chances are you’ll pass a few burger kings on the way.
yeah that’s rough. Even as a non-prisoner, if I eat so few calories, I can’t think clearly and I can’t sleep at night.
I was stranded in a town in the middle of nowhere Nevada, the kind of town that only has a post office, one restaurant bar, and a motel. I was stranded because while I was traveling, my retirement direct deposits suddenly stopped coming in.
So the lady who owns all the motel and the restaurant she hired me the first day as a dishwasher, the second day as cleaning motel rooms, then the other housekeeper told her I was too pretty for this and that I should be a bartender. So on the third day the boss started training me as a bartender. I did it and was grateful for the money but I hated every minute of it.
according to state law you are correct I should have taken a test and gotten certified but no one ever required that of me, and I didn’t realize that was even a thing until one of my friends moved to Reno and had to take a test to be a bartender. But no one ever made me do that. There is no government oversight in that little town in the middle of nowhere except
One day two representatives from the FDA came in and spent a couple hours with our chef and found no violations except they told him to wear latex gloves, and that was all the govt oversight I ever witnessed out there.
This stuff has obviously been in the news, we’re talking about it right now.

1600? Yikes. That’s like bare minimal survival. I bet the big hefty people that go in there feel quite a bit of suffering until their bodies get used to so little food.

I came here to say the same thing and you already said it. Agreed.
And keep your chin up. There actually is an end in sight. The years your children are young may seem like forever and unbearable work for you, but it will pass. My son is 20 and my daughter is 17 and I will never forget those early years of tortured parenthood but it will pass, and if you take care of your health you will feel 20 years old forever and when your children are grown you can have your youth and freedom back. Believe me! I’m living it. You can have this joy. All your hard work will pay off.
I repeat: take care of your health and when your children are grown, you will have your youth and freedom back.
As a parent I chose not to propagate this bullshit lie to my children, Because I respect them as humans and I respect their intelligence. I told them the truth about Chris Kringle / Saint Nicholas that guy who lived a long time ago. I told them the real story.
I dunno but I’m attracted to neither 🤷🏻♀️
