Precisely, and it can stay pseudo-anonymous. A trusted third party (Governments? Banks? A YMCA gym membership?) issuing a hashed certificate or token is all that’s needed. You don’t need to know my name, age, gender: but if you could confirm that I DO have those attributes, and X, Y, and Z parties confirmed it, then it’s likely I’m a human.

I have listened to these at least once per year since 2015 (holy smokes, that’s a decade!), and they are still the best audiobooks I have ever listened to. They utilize music and sound effects from the movies, and Phil has an uncanny ability to replicate many of the movie star’s voices. I cannot recommend it enough!

He also hasn’t considered the destruction that 30 million occupied dissidents (from a country known for their prolific war crimes) can unleash on their oppressor.

My partner can’t concentrate if I talk at all, but talking (insightful/funny, concise comments at appropriate times) is a pretty normal way my friends and I watched movies growing up. Sucks lol, how am I supposed to just sit on that obvious loop hole or horribly ADR’d line for another hour and a half??

From 1933 onward 100 million reichsmarks were paid to Hitler every year, which would have made him a billionaire by today’s standards.

Under facism dog whistles quickly become crimes

A tool that uploads and updates videos across multiple platforms while syncing descriptions, tags, etc is something that would be incredibly handy for creators while also being something that PeerTube could piggyback off of. “Why not upload my video to another platform I’ve never heard of? It can only lead to more exposure.”

I believe that, just like RSS feeds did not become mainstream while Reddit did, the current state of the fediverse will not gain mainstream popularity; however, it’ll serve as a stepping stone towards a new federated internet that’ll be seamless and intuitive for non-technically-inclined individuals and those who are indifferent to the implications for privacy and digital freedom.
