It’s a joke about people in denial pretending they’re just the same as everyone else. Hugely different from a joke that was created to attack the concept of people identifying with a different gender.
If you can understand a joke about the idea of someone projecting their own thoughts onto someone else is a joke about that mindset by reading some additional context, surely you can understand that the aerosexual meme is mocking the transphobic attack helicopter meme with the additional context.
