it makes you a target. Like idk what else to say. It’s also impractical. The best encryption is the encryption that gets used. And signal is just far easier for 99% of people.

no as opposed to not making it obvious by using something like signal or session or matrix… damn like privacy is not a binary switch, threat models matter, and who tf is gonna use your texts against you besides the gov? Why give your cellular provider any metadata about the messages you send? Like all things considered silence is not a good option because you stick out so much.
