I have used my flat screen LED TV’s (and plasma before them) as simply HDMI monitors for my PC, I don’t use any of the smart features, and play all my games, watch all my live TV, and streamed/downloaded television and movie content from my system. but if somehow and any point they start to show ads, when my input is HDMI, that’s the day it goes directly into the trash, and I find either another brand, or make the move to projectors
