I think crushing the GKMC truck is kinda corny and too on the nose, but props to Drake for putting out a response so quickly, this is probably the hardest I’ve ever heard Drake go honestly who knows if it was ghost written or AI but it’s genuinely impressive coming from him. Taylor Swift is the most commercially successful artist right now, despite her latest album having some pretty horrific lyrics. Beyoncé is commercially successful because she has a whole team behind her to engineer her music, like most pop stars. Drake is the most commercially successful rapper even though most of his shit sounds like fake tough guy poser talk and is very clearly ghostwritten.
No one really cares about that. Abbey Road by the Beatles is remembered as one of the best albums ever made, even though it did not win the Grammy that year. No one alive today is going to say that whatever album that won the Grammy in 1970 is better than Abbey Road.

Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers.
