So could non-trans soldiers. The problem isn’t trans, it is (ICBM) arms control. Or transphobia.

I’m old enough to remember “Do you really want PMSing women in the military?” and this has some of the same energy.

I’m not entirely sure if I have no clue what trans people really really want or this guy, but I’m willing to bet my money on “this guy”.

Projecting again, hes thinking about the white supremacists in the military he knows which threaten to nuke leftists, and assuming left wing people are as shitty as he is - as usual.

Not that people like this guy would ever actually hear this, but I love this bit from the article

Despite the stereotype that trans and nonbinary people don’t know what gender they are, they usually have put more thought into their gender identities than cisgender people have and have explored that aspect of themselves to a greater degree. Many transgender people know they are men or women with as much or even more certainty than many cisgender people, and nonbinary people don’t have the problem of knowing “if” they’re men or women because they can be just as certain that they are neither.

So if only trans people can launch the missiles, it seems like he should be pushing for more trans people in the miltary.

Not many people know this, but the original controls for the nuclear arsenal was written using obscure and nuanced language only trans people could understand. It was like the Navajo code talkers

This should be a career ending statement, it’s fallacious and trying to incite hate against the Trans community! However, I have a feeling this fool who speaks out of pocket garbage will get more votes than a saner candidate. 😬

It’s really sad how true this is. I just don’t understand why people are so into hate and fear-mongering.

People I have known since I was young, smart, kind people, have asked me questions at times like “do you think America is secretly controlled by the british?” “Did you hear Obama kills children?” “You need to know, I found out recently the druggie have taken over Chicago, Oregon and California. They are running naked, burning everything. They are coming for all of us”. And of course “I saw recently on YouTube that trans people are raping children! They want to destroy America and groom your kids!”

These are all real. From long time friends. It’s incredibly disturbing!! Not to mention one of my kids is trans so I occasionally get the concerned boomer friend saying “don’t let your kid succumb to their tricks!”

People, just do some real research! Don’t trust social media for answers… I feel like most people just want to be tricked because that way they can feel part of something and think less.

Because change is scary; figuring out how to adapt to a changing world is hard, and it’s a lot easier to just blame someone else for your problems. And besides, righteous anger feels good.

The congresspukes who bitch the loudest about the military are cowards who never set foot in a MEPS station themselves.

I’m not saying that you have to have served to have a valid opinion, but I am saying that this guy is talking out his ass.

Well I say conservatives shouldn’t be in the military because they aren’t sure if they are America or Russian and could launch missiles on everyone.
