“Throughout American history, when white men organized, it was often with pointy hats on,” said Rocketto before he added how proud he was of this group of white men, who he said are too rarely heard from.

Actor Jeff Bridges, who played “The Dude” in the cult classic “The Big Lebowski,” was excited when he heard about the gathering of his fellow white dudes.

“I qualify, man! I’m white, I’m a dude, and I’m for Harris,” Bridges said. “A woman president, man, how exciting!”

The entire article is distilled cringe. cringe

Fucking libs. Yeah, as a white man you can be a member of the Klan or do nothing except have ‘the right opinions’ of being slightly to the left of the Klan.

Naturally dividing the working class along racial lines is bullshit, but if you’re gonna take that tack, then how about general strikes, worker rebellions, anti-fascist actions at home and abroad, fucking John Brown?

I have and I agree with it.

My point isn’t that a uniquely white proletariat is either a) real b) a radical force or c) not a labour aristocracy. I was venting my frustration that the white liberal sees two options and only two options: actively supporting the Klan or not. And that simply not doing the former is adequate is somehow noble and worth self-congratulation.

I suppose I should have written it in a less ‘by your logic’ way and been clearer.

          • I have, and I’m not even white or American; I have no dog in this fight, and I certainly don’t put my hopes for revolutionary potential on the imperial core proletariat. My only point is that saying the only time white men have organized to effect social change in us history was the kkk is intellectually dishonest to say the least.

“Throughout American history, when white men organized, it was often with pointy hats on,”

I know they mean klan robes, but the first thing that popped to mind was lawn gnome style hats.
