Not calling 911 right away makes this textbook negligent manslaughter even if he was sober.
Well not manslaughter as the kid is alive. But still a felony, loss of his driving license, and prison time in any state.
Three counts on which he should not be a police officer anymore.
They break up union strikes but their own union is above the law.
Cops are a gang
It’s an actual mob. You pay dues to the bosses and they break the law to protect you.
If you go to anti union propaganda sites you get the most tame accusations you’ve ever heard. Embezzlement! Using your dues for leftist causes! Holy shit!
And then there’s “police union” where you consistently get “cop gets bored; kills family of 5. City ordered to lick his taint and pay $5,000,000 after trying to fire him.”
Always has been.🔫
An (ex) friend of mine refused a breathalyzer when a county sheriff found him sleeping behind the wheel in a parking lot after a day of drinking. Because he refused the test the county revoked his license.
Meanwhile this cop hits a child and nothing happens.
Note to self: if I’m going to commit a crime make sure I’m a cop first.
Make sure you’re a cop and do it with a car. You’ll probably have a greater chance of receiving compensation for the ‘trauma’ you suffered than face any criminal consequences.
Or use a gun. Or throw a flash bang into a crib. Or start a fire with a flash bang. So many ways to get away with murder when you’re a cop.
Actually…literally almost every way. Choking, beating, shooting, running over, blowing up…cops are fuckin murderers. Fuck the fucking police.
You’ll probably/almost certainly get off if you use those methods but, you might have to face paid leave or desk duty first. With a car you can get right back to shooting dogs the very next day.
It’s great because when they call the cops you just say “already at the scene, boys; nothing to see here – all good ‘n’ dandy, Sandy”
You see, when you are cop and you aren’t outraged and calling for this fucker to be fired, it means you too are part of the problem.
That’s why people hate cops. It’s not that all of you are assholes, but you seem way too comfortable working along side massive pieces of shit.
The cops that call this out is now an ex-cop.
The good ones don’t last long, thats why people say ACAB.
The justice system is all kinds of fucked up, so even well-intentioned cops are screwing over innocent folk on a regular basis. They might not see it, but we do, and it does make them assholes. Friendly smiling assholes.
So when do we charge this man with terrorism?
Imagine being able to refuse a breath test without getting the shit beat out of you
I still remember this time the mayor of this town was drunk driving, and they decided to go ahead and arrest him for it. They were able to get the charges to stick thanks to the bodycam footage.
I was shocked and appalled at his entitlment. I expected him to expect to be left off the hook, but the way he was acting. No whining, begging, or pleading. He just stood firm and calm as he reprimanded the police and demanded they get the chief immediately…
He really came off as though he genuinely believed the cops were the ones breaking the rules and getting in trouble for arresting him, or even stopping him, not himself…
For the rich and privileged it’s a whole different ball game.
He wasn’t a cop: mayors take notice.
Immediate mandatory year without driving privileges in most states.
Sort of an important aspect of doing patrol. I wanna know why they didn’t get a warrant for a blood draw. That’s the typical response to refusing a breath test.
Because the FOP was the first entity to know he DUI’ed over a toddler. They could then control what happened to the cop
This is the answer. And it’s why the system is producing radicals.
They don’t Isuzu beat you anymore, but lots of states have a law that part of having a driver’s license is consent to a breath test, so if you refuse they revoke your license.
Either have to be rich or a bootlicker. Presumably some people can be both.
friendly fire is generally frowned upon
What, like 99.99% of DUI arrests?
It’s not 1960, dude.
Where I live it’s illegal to refuse a drug driving test
Illegal for us plebs. Not for off duty cops
ACAB
Also fuckcars
So brave
Hey at least I am not as big of a coward as the uvalde cop!
and they wanted to make one the president
And yet they managed to make someone even worse president instead, what’s THAT say
She was never a cop
If you get paid to put people in jail, you’re a cop. Prosecutors are cops.
So… are judges cops? Are juries cops?
Jurors are performing their civic duty. Judges are pretty much cops.
… What…?
Trump is a cop…?
They are implying Harris is a cop because she worked as a prosecutor.
Yeah I mean do I want someone who is deeply intertwined with the apparatus of oppression and violence that is the US police, prison, and criminalizing “tough on crime” BS rhetoric and policy?
Lol no, it is a very crucial and important criticism of her, still woulda taken her over a fascist sigh …
Biden should have stepped down a longtime ago, he basically soft RBG’d us.
It would be nice if equal protection under the law applied to cops as well
So the responding officers were fired for not collecting evidence, right? Right?
Saving The Children DOESNT mean Protecting the from Police Brutality! It means Protecting them from RAINBOWS!
when these cops gonna start wearing masks?
“Idiocracy is a documentary.”
No mother fucker, The Boys is a fucking documentary
Union? That’s what their union is for?
Yep! The police union is anti union. It’s a bit strange, for sure.
Well mainly their Union is for busting real unions.
It is known. That’s why cops aren’t allowed in the IWW.
Teen Vogue (I know, right?): Police Unions: What to Know and Why They Don’t Belong in the Labor Movement
The only union Right Wingers believe in is the Police OFficer’s union
Fuck you, Suffolk county. You and your people suck worse than Nassau, and that’s fucking saying something.
Don’t come to the city with your shitty driving and low quality people.
Suffolk county res here, can confirm
Sorry dude. Love the beaches and Montauk but had pretty bad times trying to be friendly with people out there.
North side of the island is friendlier and the Hamptons are friendly. South side is pretty crazy. Like giant Trump flags and huge paper mache maga hats on giant trucks crazy.
