One more angsty comment to round out the year: Society generally has accepted injury and death as a cost of doing business.
The rich has. Not the society.
I don’t see any movement to correct it. No major boycotts of Amazon products. Certainly no political will to change anything.
We individually can refuse to accept it, but society has endorsed everything Amazon does and demands more.
Perhaps CEO shootings should just be thought of as the cost of doing business as well.
