What the title says. I get to the bottom of my first page of threads, hit the next button, and it this pulses for a while: Eventually it stops and nothing loads. I can go back to the first page and everything loads just fine. It’s been happening to me all day. The past ~12 hours or so. It’s probably me doing something incorrectly. Anyone have the same trouble? Windows 11, Firefox.

Oh thank fuck, I thought it was just me and since I’m traveling and on a rental WiFi I thought it was the connection.

I’m on Jerboas latest on a Huawei phone (so latest of Harmony OS)

Just adding to the pile, experiencing the same under the followimg conditions:

    • firefox desktop
    • firefox mobile
    • chrome desktop
    • voyager app

I’ve observed this while on and off VPNs, from home and work connections, as well as wired and wireless.

I’m (not really) glad to hear others having issues. This started at the same time I started using mullvad vpn and I was worried I might have some issues to iron out there.

Yup same problem here, both web and with voyager app. Tried a few different internet connections with similar results, seems something on the server side?

This happens to me for All, but not for Subscribed nor Local. I’ve had it for a few days.

UPDATE: The problem is showing up for me now on Local and All, but not Subscribed.

This might be related to a missing index on a database table, which makes some queries very very slow. I’m only guessing based on some light web searching and reading.

Like @sturger, I only experience this problem when I’m logged in.

I hope it’s a relatively easy fix. Good luck!

I’ve been experiencing the same thing for a out a week on jerboa. Subscribed page, as well. Could it be a Lemmy version incompatibility with other servers and the apps, maybe? Haven’t looked at any of the changelogs.

Been happening to me for a while on all of my platforms (desktop & phone). The problem seems to go away when I browse sh.itjust.works without being logged in.

Update: Ok, the problem gets better when I log out, but doesn’t completely go away. I get a few pages “deeper in” before the problem re-appears.
