Concessions get passed. Jeffries steps down. Democrats nominate previously agreed on GOP speaker. Republicans don’t hold up their end of the bargain, Jeffries just stays as speaker. Dems don’t hold up their end of the bargain, GOP still has the majority so they can hold up any legislation.
Just a thought, but maybe something like this
GOP and Dems agree to a list of concessions
