And to get them all paid, other federal workers need to do a bunch of overtime to get it done ASAP. So it costs even more to pay them what they should have been paid. It’s disappointing to see so many people act like this is somehow a positive for anyone.
And folk like TSA and ATC have to work regardless.

If there’s a shutdown, they all have to keep working and none of them get paid till after the shutdown.
