For those who only see bayonets:

The imagery is pretty inspired…

I’ve volunteered for election work before. It’s actually quite easy in terms of labor required (triggered my social anxiety something fierce, but so does any ‘front desk’ work), and it’s nice to know you’re doing your civic duty. In my area, they’re always in need of more volunteers. We also got paid.
My wife is a Precinct Committee Person and one of the things we do is monitor ballot drop boxes to make sure nobody is engaging in intimidation. I say “we” because there’s no way I’m letting her go out there on her own…
Hmm, but the Social Democratic Party of Germany lost to the Nazis in 1932… 🤔
I think part of the problem is people are still treating maga people like they just have a difference of opinion. The Republican party is not okay.
If you ever wondered what you would have done in the 1930s when the Nazis were coming to power, now you know.
Watch it from afar in a different country? Sounds about right
What’s the black flag?
I had to look it up, too. From Wikipedia, it’s a white nationalism flag.
This white power cross is a popular symbol amongst Europe’s hardcore Nazis. It is molded after the Celtic cross, seeking to make an heritage issue of it.
Edit: links are hard.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:White\_Nationalism\_flag\_(black).svgI’m Welsh, dad did the family tree, goes back a proper long time, so probably a Celt. They’re not my people, they can get in the sea.
Yep, same here.
It’s cultural appropriation!
It’s also, interestingly, the symbol that the Zodiac Killer used.
I thought it was the crosshairs of a scope!

Wtf one more reason to hate Nazis. I actually like that symbol it looks cool >:(
A version of the Celtic Cross used by white supremacists.
What’s with the civil war bayonet?
*Huh it has a tube instead of a handle https://img-aws.ehowcdn.com/877x500p/cpi.studiod.com/www_ehow_com/i.ehow.com/images/a05/0p/c7/identify-civil-war-bayonets-1.2-800x800.jpg?type=webp
Didn’t even notice the bayonets were era specific - nice detail!
Good thing we have the FBI hunting down “checks notes” Antifa posts like this one.
What is American Iron Front?
Never heard of them before myself. If we assume for the moment that they have accurately portrayed themselves on their website:
The American Iron Front is a network of Americans participating in direct action to counter the fascist and anti-democracy agenda perpetuated by groups and individuals in the United States. This agenda is being perpetuated by mainstream parties and fringe groups alike through misinformation, pseudo-patriotism, and weaponization of the law to disenfranchise voters, women, minorities, and those that oppose their bigoted agenda. They are actively recruiting in the cities and towns of America and radicalizing recruits online.
Our goal is to stand as a direct counterpoint to the nationalism of the alt-right and its corruption of American values by building solidarity, unity, and common defense of the Constitution.
https://www.ironfrontusa.org/about-us
Edit: Based on imagery alone (see wikipedia page), I would guess the organization is inspired by this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Front
The Iron Front (German: Eiserne Front) was a German paramilitary organization in the Weimar Republic which consisted of social democrats, trade unionists, and democratic socialists. Its main goal was to defend democratic socialism and liberal democracy against totalitarian ideologies on the far-right and far-left. The Iron Front chiefly opposed the Sturmabteilung (SA) wing of the Nazi Party and the Antifaschistische Aktion wing of the Communist Party of Germany.[1] Formally independent, it was intimately associated with the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). The Three Arrows, originally designed for the Iron Front, became a well-known social democratic symbol representing resistance against monarchism, Nazism, and Marxism-Leninism during the parliamentary elections in November 1932. The Three Arrows were later adopted by the SPD itself.[2]
At first I thought it was propaganda written by MAGAs because of the colors, I was really confused
three arrows is antifa, and even anti communist so i dont support them
You mean Communism or communism? Everyone should be anti Communism. However communism and those that follow it are pretty rational, generally agreeable allies.
It’s just a shame that Communism ruined communism. Because these days people have no idea what communism is. Only Communism. Due to the propaganda from all over. You first have to explain that there’s a difference between the two. Before you can ever havea chance at an intelligent conversation.
Gets it
So are you pro fascism and pro communism?
bruh
Come on, rub those brain cells together, you can do better than a one word meme response. Clarify your position.
Three arrows mostly gets it right.
fwiw, if your argument looks even a bit like [x is /this label/ and therefore it means y], it’s a huge red flag to anyone that’s tired of being told bullshit things using that formula. If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard well universal health care is socialism and the russians were socialist so if we get health care like the Danes do we will get russian outcomes (never mind the Danes don’t) I could probably retire at this point
cool but not really a meme…
and who uses bayonets anymore? We still have them with our equipment in the Canadian Forces
uses
I think propaganda posters are close enough
they’re not
Only the Marines anymore, I think. The US Army abandoned mandatory bayonet training a while ago.
*Most militaries
uses, not still has them for parades…
most militaries still have some horses tooYes, uses. The British Army had multiple successful bayonet charges in Afghan. Every soldier is trained to use them in combat. Many other countries are similar.
Yep they all have grenade launchers
