Pennsylvania alone would not have flipped it.

    312 to 226.

    Flip Pennsylvania:

    293 to 245.

Still 25 short of a win. PA+MI+WI were required and she blew all three, just like Clinton did.

The fascists didn’t hang him. They didn’t change their minds about what happened.

People fucking shot them in the face for being fascists until there weren’t enough goons left to protect him.

He’s been massively inconsistent about the year, some weird story about grad school requirements.

His “woke mind virus traceroute” post just does not seem like the kind of thing anyone who has ever used any form of command line would actually write. The way he talks about physics and rocketry, as someone who has taught physics and also been blessed to actually talk to some of the smartest NASA scientists in the world, does not sound like the way that people talk about physics and rocketry.

There’s nothing special about starlink. They’re just big routers. And unless an election office is running off starlink, (they aren’t), there would be evidence all the way down the line to the ground terminal used to connect to starlink. Furthermore it would require well over 100 people from both parties and disparate social groups to keep a secret. Because it would absolutely be noticed. And the people whose job it is to notice it don’t stay quiet, it’s kind of their thing.

Keeptrack seems like it should work for me for this purpose. It looks like posts there will be just the actual actions taken by our new overlords that impact us, without all the crap that’s just bluster for drama and stoking the base.

What evidence do you have other than “a feeling”? Which is what the republicans have been insisting on since 2020.

MAYBE there was limited election fraud in swing states. Nation wide, there was consistently lower Democratic turnout in basically every county in every state. That is HOW trump got the popular vote. Because people were too fucking stupid and selfish to go fucking vote.

So unless trump controlled every single machine in every single county? He won. And if he DID control that, he would have won by much larger and much stupider margins.

The problem was not “the computers” (that is gonna be the 2026 and 2028 problem…). The problem is that we spent the past 8 years smiling and nodding when self proclaimed leftists can’t go five fucking minutes without ranting about how nobody’s vote matters and we all deserve to suffer because their candidate didn’t win in two thousand and fucking sixteen.

What are you going to do when a tank rolls through your house? Or a drone blows it up? Oh, I know, you are going to rise up and fight the power. Except the cops and military have way more guns than you do.

Let alone the fact that we live in a surveillance state and it will be trivial to track down the crack team of assassins to a suburb that can just be leveled.

Life is not Red Dawn and you aren’t going to stop the fascists just by screaming “WILDCATS!!” at the top of your lungs. There is a reason the republicans, who have been planning this shit since reagan, are also the party of guns.

So your answer is no? That’s not an acceptable answer to me or my family comrade.

I tell people as often as I can, especially my trans and bipoc friends; now is the time. Get a couple guns (a long one and a short one) and learn how to use them. Learn some basic first aid, you really just need to know how to stabilize someone. Start networking with like-minded people in your communities. The police will not protect us, they’ve proven they’ll happily club senior citizens to the ground and shoot any protesters in the face with rubber bullets while escorting a rightwing murderer to safety.

It’s a long listen but worth checking out How Conservatism Won by Robert Evans. He lays out in a clear concise way “how a consortium of rich failsons got together to fund a network of right wing think tanks and shift American culture in a fun new direction. (note: it was not actually fun at all).” They’ve been very successful and those think tanks are now pipelines used to funnel ideological purists into powerful positions like our current Supreme Court.

This has been a concerted effort going back almost 70 years, Reagan was just the first actor they hired. One of the primary ghouls/traitors responsible for the attempted overthrow of our government on J6 was Roger Stone, the same traitorous ratfucker who began his career working for Nixon and has a fucking Nixon tattoo on his back. It’s really impossible to overstate just how fuckin’ bad these people are and they’re winning.

Maybe you don’t have anything to lose friend, that’s great. My suggestion to you would be to sit quietly and let those who do continue the discussion. And I’ll re-iterate for my “leftist” friends now is the time to arm yourselves friends, the police will not protect you. Iran was a secular, liberal state until almost 1980 when they (mostly legitimately) elected an Islamist theocracy; it could absolutely happen here.

Again. What is even your fully automatic assault rifle going to do against a military with tanks, drones, and surveillance on every corner?

Bro IDK where you’re even coming from I didn’t say anything about assault rifles or the military relax.

The right to bear arms is fundamental, gtfo with your “the other team is the gun team” BS. In the short term, when a truck flying a MAGA flag drives into the local gay community looking for fun I’d like there to be an armed support network for that community since we already know the police response will be slow. Longer term, if infrastructure collapses (or is intentionally neglected) expect to see migrations into rural areas in search of food and other resources. It’s hard to hunt (and defend yourself against fundamentalists with guns) without guns.

My comment was clearly not meant for you, I’m not sure why you’re so hostile. Would you suggest threatened and marginalized groups remain defenseless?

“He knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers, those vote-counting computers, and we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide.”

Trump is so old he probably means human computers. They were still around when he was a young man. Right? He meant the people counting the votes, right? Heaven forbid he actually tried to monkey with the voting machines. Because that would be illegal, and totally unthinkable for someone with a stainless reputation like His Orangeness…

And that’s exactly how he gets away with all the stuff he does: people simply assume he’s talking crap, until they realize he wasn’t.

Trump should not be allowed to say anything remotely controversial without meeting fact-checking and extreme resistance at each and every step. Either that’ll teach him to be careful with what he says, or he’ll eventually get caught incriminating himself. If people let him say any old thing because of the sheer volume of bullshit coming out of his piehole, he’s gonna keep getting away with everything.

It looked reasonable on the surface, largely because of the “factual” claims he made. But as soon as you start peeking into the publicly available numbers, it falls apart. He said 11% bullet ballots in NC. It was around 2.2%. That’s the one I verified myself.

In North Carolina, which saw 11% of votes for Trump cast as bullet votes.

          NC had 5.67m presidential votes. NC had 5.54m gubernatorial votes. A difference of 128k. 128k/5.67m = 2.257%

I checked a couple other NC races as well. It doesn’t get close. Not to mention places like NYC went more red too. Do we think they cheated in NYC too? Did they cheat literally everywhere?

Of course the bullet ballot guy makes the claim that the swing states and the surrounding states are different, but they really weren’t. His numbers are just lies.
