Usually people with Trump’s ego and believing everyone adores him stay away from open public gatherings where he may get people booing or flipping him off. He would rather go to Trump rallies to be sure he’ll get the cheers and applause his ego needs.

Reality is not what Trump wants to see.

He’s running low on money to stage his own rallies.

Now he’s forced to show up to all of these events that are not staged by his own campaign and where he can’t control who gets in.

He’s trying to choose places and events where there’s still a very large likelihood that thousands of people will cheer for him instead of boo him, but he can no longer threaten to throw people out or have them beaten up if they don’t like him.

      Must be hard for him.

Couldn’t have happened to a better person. Im glad that people are taking the time out of their busy schedule to give the 1 bird solute to him, he even got his own welcoming banner. Good for him. I bet he feels special.

Having lived in both Ames and Iowa City, I’m surprised he would have attended… they are both far more liberal than any of the other Iowa counties and full of young college voters who tend to lean liberal.

Frankly I would have been surprised if the reception was any friendlier

get this, there’s often times “advance notice” that a VIP is going to visit a major venue.

certainly enough time to stitch the banner together and get up in the air to let the shitbag really know how they feel.

either they had the money to pay someone for the service of doing this, or they put in the hours to get their pilots license and a plane and fuel and a banner.

either way, it’s a worthwhile investment of time and money if you ask me.
