I actually looked at PineTab…although very excited that we are finally have organizations willing to work on free hardware as well, right now, Pine just doesn’t offer options with the resources I want. I made this long without a tablet, maybe just wait for Pine to get more developed and then circle back
Sadly most Android tablets are too locked down to allow this.
There are however two upcomming Linux tablets that look very promising: the FydeTab Duo and the PineTab2. Not really budget options though I guess.

@poVoq @stopit The Google Slate makes a pretty decent linux tablet if you use Mr.Chromebox’s patcher
