Got some cute cuddles from my cat + woke up while it was snowing.

All I wanted and needed, I am absolute not a materialistic person. I value other stuff like health and so.

Be kind to each other, help each other, that is more a philosophy some people should community - over the entire year. Enjoy and embrace such little things, it is more useful and important than the latest iPhone.

no, serious answer, I don’t celebrate Christmas, I so didn’t really get anything. But everything is quiet in the area of the city I live in, which is nice. So I guess I’ll claim that, a little peace and quiet.

New & promising psilocybin treatments are being developed … inducing life changing experiences ! For every problem there is a solution. Take care.

I’m right there with you. I feel like I’ve been drifting utterly rudderless and without motivation to do even basic things these past few weeks. At least I recognize that feeling for what it is and can believe that its highly unlikely to persist for much longer, but man it has been brutal.

Some volumes of the Vinland Saga manga, a Wikileaks poster, some general clothing, money, some merch from freewear.org and some time to spend with my family, sister and grandma.

Overall, quite a nice Holiday I would say.

A nice Raspberry Pi to tinker with and some socks. Funny how I’m so excited for new comfy socks when I used to hate them as kids

i have hopes and would like to believe that you are good anyway and that, maybe, your gift day is not Christmas Day 🤔?
      take care

Also I think we should ask the original poster, “plu”, plu@lemmy.ml https://lemmy.ml/u/plu … (it seems i cannot get the link right) … we should ask him (her?) what he (she?) got for Christmas.

It wasn’t big. It was smaller than most. Thankfully it didn’t hurt very much. I’m not into the commercial aspect of Christmas, so I discourage people from buying me gifts. It’s amazing how much stress it removes from your life to simply boycott the practice of buying, wrapping, and exchanging gifts.

It seems I’ve been a good boy this year, got a nvme ssd and 32GB of RAM to upgrade my gaming rig and some macro lens and a SD card for my camera.

And you, what did you get?

I don’t celebrate Christmas, so I spent the holiday learning Linux-fu from Linux Journey. So I get…new knowledge I guess?
