As someone new to Lemmy I’d like recommendations for mobile clients. I’m on Android so that’s what I’m personally looking for, but feel free to list off any that tickle your fancy for any OS

I’m just getting started and Jerboa is working great. I came from boost so the pathway to familiarity was pretty quick.

Jerboa is great! Although normally I just use the web browser on my phone. It’s good enough for me.

Huh, it seems to have a static list of instances for which you can login; my instance is not in that list :(

Looks like it was just a list of examples; I put in my instance’s domain and it worked just fine!

I’m trying out Jerboa, and there’s two things I dislike so far: dark mode is grey instead of true black, and the comments appear way too large for me. I changed it to list view instead of cards and it looks a lot like BaconReader, my favorite Reddit mobile app.

haven’t found any usable ones for ios yet. there’s one in beta testing that i tried last night but it’s a bit of a mess. I saved the site to my home screen and have been using it that way. So far it’s been pretty good.

Posting this from Mlem. It’s only available through TestFlight so you have to have that to follow this link. It’s incredibly basic right now, but works well enough. Just got an update today that added the ability to subscribe to communities. Since it’s a TestFlight app normal use at own risk sorta disclaimer, but also including their GitHub

Same. The site works pretty well in mobile so it’s not that bad right now, just slightly annoying.

Unfortunately mlem for iOS is still in its infancy. I find it crashes a lot.
